Is it possible to modify the names of NPCs in Skyrim To rename an NPC, you’ll need a mod. Not sure if it's all or specific mods like AFT and EFF. Jaxonz Named Save is ported, but at the moment the saves don't go in the character slots at the main menu and only appear in the "all" section. Ive been using the Renamer for at least a few hundred hours of playtime, without any real issues. schnubbel76 wrote: Thanks for the link to the Named Save Mod. ![]() My Saves are a mess, that will help to find certain ones.Ībout Renamer. Have you tried using the save command from console. It's even quicker than saving and loading from the clunky menus.Ībout Renamer. Hey schnubbel76! Yeah I noticed this major bug when using Jaxonz Renamers. pick rename and the FNIS creature pack will be installed under. Its a shame because there are some followers with very strange names which I've always wanted to change with this mod.Ībout Renamer. This isnt my first time Skyrim modding, but it IS my first time using Mod. I will try again with leaving NPC's untouched and rename only "non-living" things. This will make MO2 install them as separate files for easier management. 8Phantasm wrote: Are you using follower mods? schnubbel76 wrote: Yes, im using AFT 8Phantasm wrote: Should be able to rename regular NPCs, but probably not any followers while using AFT. You should select the Rename option and rename the mod to its respective file name. You can also set the archive directory on a HDD to spare space on your SSD. unless you've never used them as a follower and don't plan to, that "might" work. If you dont want to archive the mods just disable the option. If non-follower NPCs get the no-name bug with AFT, let me know.
